Serial entrepreneur, farmer and global financial market expert, Mr. Soneye Abolaji has expressed his unflinching desire to contest and bring to bare excellent dividend of democracy to the people of Ojodu LCDA in Lagos state.
In a terse statement released by his media office on Monday morning, Soneye who is an Executive Partner at Flotrade Investments Ltd, muttered that the time is now for the young folks to take the mantle of leadership in Nigeria.
‘The time is now, we are not getting younger, all our visions, projections and proposition for a better Nigeria must be put to work, and the only way to do that that is by joining politics, and showing capacity, whereby responsibility of leadership can be entrusted on us’ he opined.
Soneye who is also a prominent party chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ojodu LCDA advised the youths to commence politicking at the grassroots, and stop chasing shadows of fruitless presidential ambitions.
‘The grassroot is the best place to instill the change we desire, the local council is the closest government to the people, so any serious and genuine change agent should either look towards here or be deliberate about who gets what at that pedestal of our nation. We all won’t be president same time, neither are we going to be governor or senators at once, we can rise on the ladder, while we learn the robes”, Abolaji enthused.
The frontline chairmanship aspirant in forth coming council election in Lagos State highlighted 21st education, qualitative primary health care, youths and women empowerment as the core of his administration when he eventually emerge as council chairman of Ojodu LCDA.
Abolaji Soneye is a politician, businessman, farmer and financial market analyst. He is a graduate of Lagos State University, and currently an Executive Partner at Flotrade Investments Ltd, he is happily married and blessed with kids.
Findings have it that *Bee Jay* as fondly called by friends, is a young politician and the community youth leader of great strides in the last eleven years.
Among his landmark community development interventions are lighting up all the streets of Akiode community, provision of benches, pipe borne water and electricity at the health centre as well as supporting the Ojodu police station with needed material to aid proper policing and security operations.
