Nigerians have been urged to brace up for a tougher time in 2018 as the economy will nosedive further and the politicians will assume a more dangerous position in their rivalry towards the onerous 2019 general polls.
Primate (Dr.) Abayomi Samuel, General Overseer, White House Ministry (Aladura), in his keynote homily during the activities marking the end of the two-week annual spiritual ascension of Apostle Omoniyi Ebenezer Akindele, Founder/General Overseer of The Pillar of Truth Spiritual Church, Cherubim and Seraphim, Meiran, Lagos, held on October 1, said only tough people would survive both the economic and political upheavals that will envelope the country in 2018 preparatory for the 2019 general elections.
“Garri will be very expensive due to its exportation in large quantity. The blood of the innocent people spilled in the country between 2012 and 2014 will haunt Nigeria in 2018. Only those who are covered by the power of the Almighty God will make it in 2018.”
Primate Abayomi, who also urged all Nigerians to be prayerful, added that “If I’m in your midst and tells you what God doesn’t say, God will judge me accordingly.”
Apostle Ebenezer Akindele, after the two-week spiritual ascension which culminated in the Holy Michael feast tagged “There shall be showers of blessing”, said God would bless the upright in the country jus as the Almighty would spill the blood of some power brokers who hold the nation by the jugular like it happened to the Biblical Pharaoh.
“God will take over power in Nigeria. No one can take over power without God’s involvement. God has taken control of the 2019 polls. The time has come to call on the Lord in Nigeria in order to be a partaker in the impending blessing while saving His own from the doom to come.”
Apostle Akindele added that “Holy Spirit will pass through Nigeria like when Pharaoh was told of the heaven’s plan to free the Israelites from his bondage but was adamant until the Holy Spirit assumed duty through Moses. Nigeria is full of milk and honey, God loves Nigeria greatly. All what are found in the so-called advanced nations where Nigerians troop to for slave jobs which they often call greener pastures are equally available here except good leadership that is lacking. Nigeria is Israel by the favour of the Almighty God”.
This year’s Holy Michael feast, co-chaired by Chief Musibau Olamilekan, Baale of Alagbaa, Lagos, and Mr. Michael Adazu, also had in attendance Alhaji Sulaiman Ayilara, popularly known as Ajobiewe, who was the guest artiste, thrilled people at the event with his one-in-town brand of word craft laced with cultural lines and the matching drumbeat that spiced up the celebration with colours.
