Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women scientists and the science they do. Soapbox Science Nigeria, held the first of it’s kind in Nigeria for women in STEMM on 22nd of August, 2019 at UBA Open Park, University of Lagos, Akoka.
The speakers were female scientists and professionals in the STEMM discipline as they showcased their research in simple ways.
The open air event was opened to all who were willing to learn from and interact with the speakers.
The nine Speakers were selected from a competitive pool of researchers as they shared their work in science, technology, medicine and engineering.
