Reflect the great qualities of Jesus, Glo urges Christians at Easter | Prestige News

Nigeria’s technology and communications solutions provider, Globacom, has cheered the Nigerian Christian community on the Easter celebration this year. The company also entreated them to follow in the exemplary footsteps of Jesus Christ.
In a greeting of goodwill to the nation’s Christians, the company praised their tenacity over the Lenten season, which preceded the Easter observance. It enjoined them to constantly advance the principles of selflessness, love, and peace among all, which are all the virtues of the life of Jesus Christ while on earth.
Said Globacom: “Peace, love and sacrifice are the central message of Easter. Christ offered himself in atonement for the sins of the world and he lived a life which made Him an eternal symbol of peace and goodwill for mankind”.
Globacom implored all Nigerians to learn about the importance of fostering selflessness, which is a vital component of any society’s expansion and advancement. Additionally, it called on all Nigerians to work together to make the country a better place for everyone.
As a purifying ceremony for the Christian faithful, Easter is observed annually at the conclusion of the Lenten season of prayer and fasting. It comes before the Good Friday crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His eventual resurrection on Easter Sunday.
For the holiday period, Globacom assured its customers of unhindered voice, data and Short Messaging Service (SMS) during and after the celebrations and urged them to take advantage of the various data and voice offerings on the Glo network.
