Unlike his initially proposed visit to Lagos which was aborted at the 11th hour, Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, is finally in Lagos to commence his two-day official visit to the Centre of Excellence.
In the course of the visit, the president will officially open the ultra modern bus terminal built by the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode administration in Lagos.
Also, he would attend the colloquium being put together to mark the birthday of APC strongman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The fast-transforming Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju Lekki would also be visited by the president before returning to his Aso Villa base in Abuja.
Lagos, meanwhile, has been on lock down since yesterday due to restriction of vehicular movements in certain routes. Queues, sea of human heads, trekking, complaints, etc currently rule and reign. In spite of the public holiday declared by the State Government.
