Nigeria’s foremost HSE watchdog organization; Media Centre for Safety Reporting(MCSR) in conjunction with National Safety TV is set to honour individuals and firms in Nigeria, who have distinguished themselves in the cause of advancing the health, safety, security and environment during this prevailing global pandemic with the National Safety Awards 2020.
It will also use the opportunity to launch an independent data base to verify the impact of different palliatives rolled out to the beneficiaries during the COVID-19 global health emergency.
President of the Safety Centre, John Thompson said this in a statement made available to journalists on Monday.

The event, which promises to be a celebration of life and victory over COVID-19 against all odds, is slated to hold a Webinar Health and Safety Conference in October 16, 2020, with the unveiling of nominees and HSE information data base launch.
He further stated that the Award presentation proper, will take place at Nigeria Airforce Officers Mess in Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, Lagos, on 23rd of November 2020, under the strictest COVID-19 safety protocols.
