The Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly, Rt. (Hon) Mudashiru Obasa and other members of the House on Monday paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Hon Olatunde Braimoh, a member of the assembly who died on Friday, July 10, 2020, two months to his 60th birthday.
Until his death, Braimoh represented Kosofe Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House Of Assembly and was Chairman, House Committee On Information, Strategy and Security. He was a second term lawmaker who was once an executive chairman of Kosofe local government at the beginning of the fourth republic.
While speaking at the residence of the deceased in Ogudu area of Lagos, Obasa said that they were there to identify with the family in their moment of grief.
The Speaker continued “We want to assure you that you are in our prayers and thought and in everything we do we will always remember the family. Your husband and father was one of us who played a prominent role in the activities of the Lagos House of Assembly”.
“He served the people of his constituency and Lagos State well. We pray to Almighty Allah to grant you his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. We pray to Almighty Allah to console you and grant you the strength and courage to be able shoulder the family responsibility”, said the Speaker.
Obasa also thanked the political associates of the deceased for their support to the family, urging them not to relent in their support now that he was no longer around.
” Once again, on behalf of members of Lagos House of Assembly, management and staff, accept our condolences”, said Obasa.
The daughter of Late Tunde Braimoh , Miss Oyinkonsola Tunde Braimoh, responded on behalf of the family.
She prayed that non of the members would witness such a calamity.
