At 2017 Prestige Excellence Award, Honourable Rasheed Makinde emerged Outstanding Lawmaker of the Year.
Rasheed Lanre Makinde born on August 7l, 1975, is a member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ifako-Ijaiye II Constituency of Lagos State.
He attended Ogun State Polytechnic where he graduated in 1998, obtaining Higher National Diploma [HND] certificate. He further studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Universiity of Ibadan and obtaiiiined M.Sc. in the year 2005.
Rasheed Lanre Makinde later became an Assistant Chief Town Planning Officer at the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Developments
