President Muhammadu Buhari held a closed door meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors, at the Presidential Villa, on Tuesday, in Abuja.
Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, who’s also the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has led his colleagues to the meeting.
The meeting was to make consultations on the choice of running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.
Others are Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Jigawa State, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma.
