PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – With improved waterways, economic activities now flourish in Eziofun Idumu-Ebor River in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State following the intervention of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in the twenty-five years that the commission has carried out its mandate to improve the lives of people living in the Niger Delta region.
Clearance of the blocked section of the river was a vital intervention to address the multiple needs of the community.
This intervention improved waterflow which has enhanced local agriculture including fishing, helping families to meet up with their responsibilities to love ones.
