As muslims across the world celebrate Eid-El-Kabir festival, Nigeria’s total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has enjoined the Muslim faithful in the country to use the occasion to promote good neighbourliness, love and unity.
The company, in a press statement in Lagos on Tuesday, wished Muslims a happy Eid celebration, and urged them to continue to cultivate the spirit of self-restraint and rededicate themselves to the service of Allah.
It also congratulated Muslims who successfully performed this year’s Hajj in fulfillment of the injunction of Islamic faith, and called on them to practice the virtues of commitment, dedication and obedience which Prophet Ibraheem showed by his willingness to sacrifice his son in deference to the will of Allah, which the festival of Eid-El-Kabir commemorates.
”It is a season of charity, peace-making and forgiveness. We must use this season to remember to fend for the poor and the needy in line with Allah’s injunction to be our brother’s keeper”, Globacom noted
The company promised to ensure that all Nigerians on the Glo network have a smooth communication experience during and after the holidays by providing high quality service throughout the season and beyond.
