The nomination for Nigeria’s most authoritative annual Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), for productivity and excellence – National Safety Awards 2021, has been declared open by the organizers, Media Centre for Safety Reporting (MCSR) of Nigeria.
The vice president of MCSR and Chairman, National Safety Awards 2021 Committee, Abdullahi Wakawa, said this in statement made available to Journalists in Abuja on Thursday September 2, 2021.
He stated that “we see safety as panacea to peace, economic recovery and nation- building. This year’s edition is an expanded programme from 2020, which was mainly for COVID-19 frontliners and caregivers to include individuals and corporate organizations that have shown commitment towards peace and national development, in the face of daunting economic, safety and security challenges”.
He further stated that “our nine cardinal points criteria is now structured into twenty categories”.
The call for nominations into National Safety Awards, which takes place in December 2021 with Lagos as the host, closes on November 28, 2021.
The statement also called for collaborations, partnerships, sponsorships and supports in different categories from individuals and corporate organizations.
