Indigenes of Erin Osun and their friends gathered penultimate Saturday to celebrate the 27th edition of Moje Day, an annual event is put together to bring all sons and daughters and friends of the town together for the purpose of contributing to its development.
The crowd was a great one, as the Erin Osun Town hall was filled to the brim, with about 2000 gaily dressed people in attendance.
The event included cultural displays, speeches, empowerment program, and launching for the completion of Erin Osun’s ultra-modern town hall.
The Elerin of Erin, Oba Yesufu Omoloye thanked the indigenes for their efforts and contributions to the growth of the town since the first celebration in 1993.
He enjoined them to always make it a point of duty to come home to establish small businessess and even bigger ones in order to improve the economic /social activities of the town.
Alhaji Hassan Àlàó, the national president of the Erin Progressive Union (EPU) thanked the indigenes of the town as well as the invited guests for honoring the invitation. He urged all and sundry to unite for the purpose of bringing peace and development to the town.
