Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans, was arraigned in a Lagos High Court on Wednesday to face series of charges levelled against him by the Nigeria Police.
The notorious kidnapper, however, pleaded guilty to the two counts of conspiracy and kidnap.
Evans appeared before the court along with five members of his gang under heavy security.
They were marched into the courtroom at 8. 56 a.m to face Justice Akeem Oshodi of Court 18.

His lawyer had earlier said they have been denied access to him and that he may plead guilty under duress.
The Head of prosecution legal team, David Igbodo, said more charges would follow between now and October 19 of the adjourned date.
Six persons were brought before the court on Wednesday, including a female and five males.
The names of the suspects were mentioned as Evans, Uche Amadi, Ogechi Uchechukwu, Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu, Chilaka Ifeanyi and Victor Chukwunonso Abuba.
Three of the suspects pleaded guilty to their charges while three pleaded not guilty.
